Analyst - Sourcing & Vendor Development
Description
Responsibilities:
Sourcing Analytics & Reporting
- Design, build and continuously enhance dashboards tracking OTIF, order execution, supplier performance and sourcing KPIs.
- Deliver weekly, monthly and ad-hoc MIS reports with actionable insights for senior management.
- Transform raw ERP data into structured intelligence that drives sourcing decisions.
Order & Delivery Tracking
- Monitor open POs, delivery timelines and material readiness against production calendars.
- Proactively flag risks of delays or shortfalls and support recovery planning with the sourcing team.
Supplier Performance Analysis
- Own and maintain vendor scorecards covering OTIF, calendar adherence, quality/claims and responsiveness.
- Analyze performance trends, identify root causes and support corrective action tracking for recurring gaps.
Payment & Reconciliation Support
- Coordinate with Finance for supplier payments, deductions, claims and reconciliations.
- Track pending commercial matters and ensure timely closure with structured follow-ups.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner closely with Merchandising, Planning, Production, Quality and Finance to ensure smooth information flow.
- Support supplier communication with data-backed inputs, structured analysis and timely escalations.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics or a related field (Master's preferred)
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to Power BI
- Proven ability to manage large data sets, build scalable reporting frameworks and drive process improvements.
- Strong analytical thinking, business acumen and structured problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience
3-4 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain analytics — retail background preferred
