Category Lead (Non-Footwear)

Description

We are seeking a dynamic Category Lead to drive growth and profitability across assigned product categories. The role involves end-to-end ownership of category performance including assortment planning and pricing strategies. The incumbent will analyze market trends and customer insights to optimize product offerings. Close coordination with merchandising, sourcing and retail teams is essential to ensure product availability and sales targets. The role requires strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making. This position plays a key role in shaping the brand’s category strategy and enhancing customer experience.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field (MBA Preferred)

Required Skills

  • Category & Commercial Management – Ability to drive sales, margins, and overall category performance
  • Data Analysis & Business Insights – Strong grip on sales data, trends, and forecasting
  • Assortment Planning & Merchandising – Selecting the right product mix based on customer demand

Experience

6–8 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or buying within the retail industry
