Assistant Manager IT - Retail Operations
Description
- Manage and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN (MikroTik), firewall, and overall network infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth functioning of POS systems, ERP, inventory management, and other retail applications.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
- Manage servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, email systems, and cloud services.
- Implement cybersecurity measures, system patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Supervise and guide the IT operations team with effective follow-up and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and external service providers.
- Maintain IT documentation, including SLAs, SOPs, system reports, and asset records.
- Lead IT infrastructure setup and deployment for new store openings.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Network Infrastructure and IT Operations Management.
- CCNA / CCNP certification (preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Proactive approach with strong technical supervision and problem-solving abilities.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT operations and network infrastructure management, preferably within the retail industry handling multi-location environments.
