The position is responsible for driving product buying strategy and vendor partnerships. The role leads seasonal product selection decisions including what to buy, where to buy, and at what cost to ensure commercial viability. The incumbent builds and develops strong vendor relationships, negotiates pricing structures, and ensures competitive product costing aligned with margin targets. The position stays ahead of seasonal trends, fabric innovations and market shifts to curate commercially successful assortments. This role acts as the key bridge between vendors and internal merchandising teams to ensure timely and profitable product execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Fashion Design or Supply Chain
8-9 years in retail buying or merchandising with minimum 4–5 years in apparel buying (eastern & western)
