Jr. Data Analyst – Retail Operations

Description

This position supports data-driven decision-making across the Sales & Operations function by assisting in business analysis and reporting activities. The role is responsible for preparing regular reports, maintaining dashboards, and analyzing operational data to provide meaningful insights to the Line Manager. The incumbent will work on developing and updating dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with different departments to gather data, support forecasting activities, and contribute to improving operational efficiency and overall business performance.

Qualification

Bachelors in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data filtering, etc.)

  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring data accuracy and spotting inconsistencies in reports
  • Analytical Thinking: Basic ability to analyze sales, inventory and performance data to extract meaningful insights
  • Communication: Skill in conveying data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
