HSE Coordinator
Description
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, SOPs, and safety standards in warehouse operations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards.
- Maintain HSE records, incident reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and support HSE training programs for employees.
- Monitor use of PPE, safety signage, and adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, recycling, and energy conservation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and assist in compliance audits.
- Monitor, inspect, and maintain firefighting systems and fire alarm systems, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards
- Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Promote a safety-first culture across all departments.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with NEBOSH level 3 / IGC + IOSH
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of OHSE management systems and international safety standards.
- Expertise in risk assessment, audit procedures, and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Competencies:
- Ability to identify training needs and deliver effective safety programs.
- Proficiency in report writing, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring.
Experience
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience of HSE in warehouse operations
