HSE Coordinator

Description
  1. Implement and enforce HSE policies, SOPs, and safety standards in warehouse operations
  2. Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards.
  3. Maintain HSE records, incident reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
  4. Coordinate and support HSE training programs for employees.
  5. Monitor use of PPE, safety signage, and adherence to safety standards.
  6. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  7. Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, recycling, and energy conservation.
  8. Liaise with regulatory authorities and assist in compliance audits.
  9. Monitor, inspect, and maintain firefighting systems and fire alarm systems, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards
  10. Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.
  11. Promote a safety-first culture across all departments.
Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with NEBOSH level 3 / IGC + IOSH

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of OHSE management systems and international safety standards.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, audit procedures, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Competencies:

  • Ability to identify training needs and deliver effective safety programs.
  • Proficiency in report writing, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring.

Experience

2 to 3 years of hands-on experience of HSE in warehouse operations
