Stationery Designer
Description
- Conceptualize and design original stationery collections across notebooks, planners, diaries, cards, packaging, and office stationery.
- Develop artwork, layouts, illustrations, and production-ready files aligned with brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Select and recommend paper stocks, finishes, bindings, printing techniques, and packaging solutions to achieve design and functional objectives.
- Collaborate with production, sourcing, vendors, and internal teams to ensure feasibility, quality, timelines, and cost effectiveness.
- Review and approve samples, mockups, and print proofs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and finish quality.
- Stay updated on global stationery, print, and design trends to keep collections relevant and differentiated.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Product Design, or a related discipline.
Diploma or certification in Stationery Design, Print Design, or Illustration will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong eye for aesthetics, typography, color harmony, and composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of printing processes, paper stocks, finishes, and bindings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and revisions with high attention to detail.
Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in stationery design, graphic design, or product design, preferably within consumer goods, lifestyle, or FMCG.
