Lead Legal & Compliance

Description
  • Manage all civil, criminal, and corporate litigation matters of the organization.

  • Represent the company in courts, tribunals, and legal hearings as required.

  • Draft, vet, and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and MoUs.

  • Coordinate with external counsels for ongoing and new litigation cases.

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on potential legal risks and mitigations.

  • Handle legal notices, FIRs, and ensure timely filing of responses, appeals, and claims.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal cases and proceedings.

  • Provide legal support for property, labor, and corporate compliance matters.

  • Liaise with government departments, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies when required.

  • Advise senior management on policy formulation and risk prevention related to legal matters.

Qualification

LLB from a recognized university

Required Skills

  • Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.

  • Excellent command over civil, criminal, and corporate laws.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems.

Experience

4-5 years of experience in civil, criminal and litigation matters preferably in corporate or retail.
