Sr. Data Analyst - Retail Operations

Description

This position plays an important role in driving data-informed decision-making across the sales & operation function. It is responsible for leading complex business analytics with respect to sales, while providing actionable insights to senior management. The role involves designing and automating dashboards and analytical models via Power BI & Advanced Excel techniques, ensuring data accuracy and enhancing reporting efficiency. Additionally, the incumbent collaborates cross-functionally to develop forecasting models for enhanced operational effectiveness and overall business growth.

Qualification

Bachelors in Business Statistics or relevant

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data filtering, etc.)

  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring data accuracy and spotting inconsistencies in reports
  • Analytical Thinking: Basic ability to analyze sales, inventory and performance data to extract meaningful insights

Experience

4-5 years' in a similar capacity (preferably in Retail)
