BOQ & Billing Officer

Description

This position will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and validating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and contractors bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. The role involves verifying site measurements, maintaining cost records and preparing billing reports while ensuring adherence to financial controls and company policies. It also plays a key role in supporting relevant teams by providing accurate cost estimates, timely bill processing and highlighting discrepancies for corrective action.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation, billing verification, and cost estimation.
  • Strong MS Excel and project documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze site measurements and validate contractor claims.

Competencies

  • Detail Orientation & Accuracy: Ensures precision in quantities, billing records, and financial reports.
  • Analytical & Coordination Ability: Capable of identifying cost deviations and collaborating with site, finance, and procurement teams effectively.

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in BOQ preparation & billing verification
