Assistant Manager HR (Employee Relations)

Description
  • Compliance with Labor Laws:
    • Stay updated with relevant labor laws, regulations, and employment legislations
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all industrial relations activities
    • Provide guidance and support to retail managers and employees on labor law interpretations, procedures and compliance
  • Employee Relations:
    • Investigate and resolve disciplinary issues and employee complaints related to industrial relations matters
    • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and fair manner
  • Ensure timely payments of EOBI on 15th of each month and ESSI on 30th of each month for Stylo Group
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records related to industrial relations activities, ongoing registered cases, grievances, and negotiations
  • Review existing policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices
  • Utilize EOBI & ESSI systems to track, maintain and manage industrial relations-related data
  • Submission and follow up for Employee Cases i.e., Marriage Grant, Talent Scholarship and Death Grants with Punjab Worker Welfare Board office
  • Make negotiations with Labor Inspectors in favor of the Company
  • Support in representing the organization in labor-related hearings, arbitrations, or other legal proceedings
  • Any other tasks assigned by the HOD
Qualification

Bachelors or Masters

Required Skills

  • Excellent negotiation, mediation, and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
     

Competencies:

  • Ability to negotiate terms with Labor Inspectors that are in favor of the Company
  • Ability to work independently & meet deadlines

Experience

3 – 4 Years in ER/IR function
