DGM Supply Chain Planning
Description
- Lead the development of accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, customer insights and seasonal demand to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate closely with the inventory management team to ensure safety stock levels and reorder points to ensure consistent product availability across retail locations.
- Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the merchandising budget, ensuring alignment with sales projections and overall business objectives.
- Coordinate promotional activities and events, ensuring that the inventory levels support planned marketing efforts and that pricing strategies are effective.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to assess the performance of merchandise and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments to planning and strategy.
- Ensure that all departments are aligned on planning timelines, priorities and any potential risks or bottlenecks
- Mentor and lead the planning team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring continuous professional development.
Qualification
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field

- Ability to develop and manage forecasts that balance supply with customer demand, leveraging demand planning tools to drive data-driven decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and Excel enabling the ability to derive insights from complex data and recommend actions

Experience
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in planning or merchandising within retail environment.
