Manager Inventory Planning
Description
- Develop and implement inventory control processes to optimize stock levels across retail stores and warehouses ensure timely replenishment, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations
- Analyze sales patterns and inventory turnover to make data-driven decisions on stock allocation and replenishment strategies
- Oversee inter-store transfers to balance stock levels across different locations based on sales performance, demand and store needs ensuring that retail stores are stocked according to sales forecasts and promotional activities
- Work closely with the retail operations, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of inventory activities
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to align inventory levels with product launches, seasonal demands and marketing campaigns
- Provide regular reports on stock levels, inventory turnover and replenishment effectiveness to Line Manager
Qualification
Bachelors/Masters in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and replenishment processes
- Excellent analytical skills to understand shop requirements and manage stock levels

- Inventory Optimization: Managing stock levels across multiple locations to ensure availability while minimizing overstock
- Problem Solving: Capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies or challenges in the inventory management process
- Coordination & Collaboration: Strong skills in coordinating between stores, warehouses and logistics teams for effective movements
Experience
5-7 years’ experience in inventory management (preferably in retail industry)
