Assistant Manager Sourcing (Supplier Management)
Description
- Monitor and track the progress of footwear orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely fulfilment according to specifications and agreed schedules.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation for order fulfilment is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in coordinating quality control checks to ensure that all incoming products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze inventory levels and adjust order quantities in coordination with the Line Manager and Merchandising teams to meet demand fluctuations
- Monitor pricing trends and fluctuations in raw materials or finished goods to keep purchasing costs in check.
- Provide regular updates to the Line Manager and key stakeholders on the progress of all open orders.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Line manager to ensure the smooth execution of sourcing activities
- Assist the Line Manager in developing contingency plans for orders that may be delayed due to production, shipment, etc.
Qualification
Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field

Experience
Minimum 4 years experience in sourcing preferably in retail or fast fashion industry
