Assistant Manager Logistics
Description
- Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping
- Identify and implement cost-effective logistics solutions to improve overall efficiency
- Analyze transportation and logistics costs and implement strategies to optimize spending
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers and other logistics partners
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Identify and assess potential risks in the logistics process and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage the receipt, storage and distribution of products
Qualification
Masters/Bachelors in Supply Chain or relevant
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics management
- Problem Solving & Organizing Skills
Experience
4-5 years’ in Logistics Management
