Discover cost effective suppliers and negotiate to secure advantageous terms
Excellent knowledge of industry relevant SRO’s
Analyzing the quality of goods & services by tracking metrics such as defect rates, rejection of goods & services with the aim to reduce cost & improve effectiveness
Conduct monthly costing and planning of raw materials with Production & Finance Departments
Perform risk management of procurement contracts and maintain agreements to have long term savings on procurement costs
Finalize details of Purchase Order & Delivery Times
Continuous training of colleagues for enhancement of knowledge regarding industry relevant best practices
Qualification
Bachelors/Masters in Supply Chain Management or Relevant
